The Tabaxi Regiment
Chocobos are large flightless birds ranging from 7-10 feet tall in adulthood, with feathers of bright yellow (with occasional green, red, or blue coloration). Friendly by nature, chocobos are easily domesticated even if born in the wild. They are nearly twice as fast as horses on average and can cover more difficult terrain with ease, but they can carry far less weight and are less sturdy in general. More than one rider would make even a large chocobo stagger, and their saddlebags are half the size of a typical horse’s.
Because of their speed and agility, chocobos are commonly used by the LRM to transport squads quickly between stations. They are also commonly used by adventurers to cover the great distances necessary to earn them their riches.
